Anisha Naidoo Umichand is the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary of iOCO Limited, a JSE listed technology services Group operating across South Africa and international markets.

With almost two decades of post-admission legal experience, she leads the Group's legal, governance, risk and compliance functions, advising the Board, Executive Leadership and the Businesses on strategic transactions, corporate governance, public sector procurement, regulatory matters, litigation management and complex commercial arrangements.

Anisha has extensive experience supporting multinational operations and navigating highly regulated environments, including the ICT, public sector, energy and environmental sectors. Her work spans governance transformation, risk management, shareholder engagement, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, as well as large scale commercial negotiations.

Recognised for her pragmatic and commercially focused approach, Anisha is passionate about enabling business growth while maintaining strong governance and ethical leadership. She was named to the Legal 500 General Counsel Power List South Africa 2026 and is a strong advocate for developing the next generation of legal leaders and advancing diversity within the profession.
