Lufuno is a seasoned legal practitioner with experience in providing legal, regulatory & corporate governance advice across Africa. Lufuno is a strategic leader and prioritizes commercial & innovative solutions to deliver positive business outcomes. Lufuno is currently the Head of Legal for the South African Breweries (part of the AB InBev group) where he leads a dynamic team. Prior to that, Lufuno was the Company Secretary and Senior Legal Counsel for AB InBev Africa responsible for corporate governance across 11 markets and 4 listed entities. Lufuno started his career in private practice and was an associate and senior associate respectively at ENSafrica and Bowmans specializing in competition law and regulatory matters across Africa. Lufuno holds an LLB from the University of Pretoria, an LLM from Cornell University and a Masters in Development Policy from UCT.
