Corey is a tax partner in the financial services specialty group at Crowe where he oversees the delivery of tax consulting and compliance services to many of the firm’s banking clients. He is personally involved with financial institution clients throughout the United States, including multi-state public companies with multi-billion dollar balance sheets. Corey has worked in the financial services tax industry for over 16 years and began his career with Crowe directly out of college. After starting in Indianapolis, IN he relocated to New York, NY in 2014 to support for firm’s growing Northeast tax practice. Corey now leads the Mid-Atlantic financial service tax practice and co-leads the Southeast financial services tax practice out of Charlotte, NC. Corey has extensive industry experience assisting clients with identifying, developing and implementing comprehensive tax planning strategies, assistance with mergers and acquisitions, taxation of equity-based compensation plans, analysis of federal tax credit programs, and multi-state taxation issues. Corey is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accounts while also being a licensed CPA in D.C. and NC.
