Stephen Beckwith is a Partner in PwC’s Banking & Capital Markets practice based in New York, with more than 22 years advising multinational, inbound and domestic banks and broker‑dealers across the tax life cycle. He works with tax, finance and accounting teams to navigate tax reporting, compliance and controversy, with a focus on practical solutions that withstand regulatory and stakeholder scrutiny.

Stephen’s experience spans SEC and bank regulatory reporting; mergers, acquisitions and business combinations (including purchase price allocations); and the design of tax governance frameworks and technology‑enabled processes. At PwC he leads large‑scale compliance and provision engagements, and supports clients through examinations, appeals and dispute resolution.
