John is a Tax Partner in the Banking & Capital Markets practice at EY. During his 30 years in public accounting, John has consulted with banks, thrifts, captive finance companies, broker-dealers and other financial services-related companies. John is the firm’s principal U.S. resource on matters involving specialty domestic banking issues, such as failed bank acquisitions and the regulatory capital treatment of deferred tax assets. He currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona (1995) and a Master’s in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California (2006).
