Robert Dembowski is the Tax Senior Director at Western Alliance Bank (NYSE: WAL), one of the country’s top performing banking companies. He is generally responsible for all internal tax departmental items including income tax accounting, SOX, compliance, regulatory reporting, controversy, planning, research and M&A. Mr. Dembowski joined the bank in August 2013 and has over 17 years of combined experience in tax between the public and private sector. He specializes in both corporate and partnership taxation with additional expertise in the area of incentive tax credits. Mr. Dembowski was born and raised in Wisconsin but decided to ditch the snow for sunshine when he transferred to the University of Arizona to receive both his undergrad and master’s degree.
