Diana Miller is Head of Tax at BasePoint Capital, where she leads all aspects of the firm’s tax function, including income tax accounting, compliance, and tax structuring across its private credit and asset management businesses. With over 20 years of executive experience in the financial services sector, Diana brings a deep understanding of complex tax environments and a track record of aligning tax strategy with business growth.
Prior to joining BasePoint, Diana served as Vice President and Head of Tax at Signature Bank, where she oversaw enterprise-wide tax operations spanning ASC 740 reporting, regulatory compliance, strategic tax planning, and audit defense. She has also held tax leadership roles at GreenPoint Financial and New York Community Bank and consultant roles with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
She currently serves on the BTI Advisory Board and is a member of Women in Financial Services, contributing to industry thought leadership and the advancement of women in finance. Diana holds a B.S. in Accounting from Saint Peter’s University and an M.S. in Taxation from Villanova University.
