This session will cover the economic impact created by federal tax credit programs (housing, renewable energy, community preservation) and how corporations can take advantage of well-tested federal incentives (common structures, and IRS guidance).  A high-level discussion of the total benefits, risks, mitigants and issues tax credit investors encounter and a perspective that addresses common objections to approving investments in tax credits. We will review the compelling risk/reward for tax credit investors investing in sustainability benefits versus straight financial and tax benefits earned by all tax credit investors and buyers.
