This session will highlight the relevant tax issues created by the increasing use of remote workers by financial institutions. Topics will include state and local income tax issues, as well as payroll and sales tax considerations. We will also hit on issues including foreign remote workers as well as the systems and controls employers should have in place to comply with various taxing authority’s regulations.
