Many banks are familiar with tax credit investing opportunities, and the “Inflation Reduction Act” passed in 2022 has opened the door to a wide range of new credits—including transferable credits that can be purchased outside of a traditional tax equity partnership. This panel will explain the changes post-IRA which allow banks of all sizes to benefit from tax credits from sustainable energy projects.
