Mike is the national director of KPMG’s IRS Policies and Dispute Resolution group of Washington National Tax. He has extensive experience with tax administration, much of it gained during a career with the IRS. Mike served the last six years of his IRS career as the IRS deputy commissioner and also served two extended appointments as acting commissioner. He possesses a broad knowledge of the IRS and works extensively with KPMG clients to anticipate and resolve their federal tax disputes and complex IRS practice and procedure issues.
