Ilene is the co-leader of tax services for the Financial Services Practice. Ilene has more than 20 years of experience delivering corporate and partnership tax services to public and private, domestic and international entities in the financial services industry including banks, broker/dealers, hedge funds and private equity funds.
Ilene prepares and reviews income tax filings under the provisions of US GAAP and IFRS. She oversees large corporate and partnership tax compliance engagements involving federal and multistate companies, and represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and various state tax authorities. She also advises clients on tax consulting and planning issues such as entity status, permanent establishment, and US and non-US withholding taxes. Prior to joining Mazars USA in 2014, Ilene was a Tax Director at a Big Four firm.
Ilene graduated from New York University Stern School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Marketing. She received a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law.
